I am sorry I have not posted in a while. We have been pretty busy lately!
Last week we spent a few days in Pittsburgh, PA to visit Tom's brother Dan for his birthday. The best part was that nobody spilled the beans about our trip to Dan, for he was shocked when we surprised him by jumping out of the kitchen when he got home! Tom and Dan spent the weekend programming and speaking computer. May and Lila (Dan's wife and baby) helped Jenn update her Babies R Us registry and talked about babies and pregnancy. Lila also donated all her grown-out clothes to our baby. Thanks Lila!
Today we had our Fetal Echo-cardiograph ultra sound. The baby proved to be in the worst possible position to get a good look at her heart. So Jenn took a few minutes to walk around the room rubbing her belly and threatening our little one with leaving her at the hospital when she is born if this was a show of her future cooperation. The doctor took another look and she moved into the perfect position! The tech that saw us first tried to reaffirm that we are having a girl, but our baby had her legs tightly crossed and she was tapping her foot in defiance. So we are still pretty sure that we are having a girl. She weights in at about a pound and a half right now and her heart looks good and healthy!
Tomorrow Jenn's brother Jake returns home from his mission in Antofagasta, Chile! We had a couple of drama filled days with rumour that his travel plans were pushed back a week or more due to the big earthquake in southern Chile last week. It turns out his plans were only pushed back a day. We are glad to have him back and look forward to the Roberts's visit next week!
