32 week update!

On Monday we had our 32 week check up! The doctor measured my belly to see if it had grown since our last visit. It still measured 29 cm which is what my belly measured at two weeks ago. So the doctor ordered an ultrasound. We had that ultrasound today and every thing looks great. They estimate our baby to weight 5 lbs. so far. They also confirmed that she is really a girl. I have been a bit freaked out that the uncertainty of the last scans would prove our undoing when we would have to bring home our baby boy in a dress. Our baby's head also measures in the top 90%. We attribute this to her mother's side of the family. From everything we read about these last weeks of development, the baby should also gain about a half a pound a week. That math would put our baby at about 9 lbs. at birth. Her weight and head size will make for one fun trip when she is born! I have included a picture of me taken last week-end, in which I hope you can see how big I have grown! There is also a picture of the beautiful bassinet that Tom's siblings pitched in to get for us.
