Baby Room Pictures

I wanted to show off some pictures of our baby's room! The color scheme is red and denim. Tom thinks the room looks like Texas. It is still a work in progress.
The first picture is of the crib that Mary, Tom's sister, gave to us. We painted it white and it looks great! Thanks Mary. We still need the mattress but we will get there. We have a crib bumper that matches the rocking chair seat cushion. The second picture is of the window and the rocking chair. The rocking chair we got off of craigslist and was a great deal. We painted the crib to match the rocking chair. Then third picture is of just the window. I was friends with a family who hung up jeans from every member of their family as window curtains in one of their rooms. These are two pairs of Tom's old jeans with a valence of red bandanna material. I also included my moccasins from when I was a baby to give it the final touch. It is so much fun to decorate our baby's room. I love that I am sewing and inventing much of the decor my self to make the space more of a personal gift to our new little girl!
