We had a great Easter yesterday. The Easter Bunny did not leave Vera a real basket, but just a new toy rubber ducky that looks like it is coming out of an easter egg. She figured that if she hits it hard enough it makes a squeaking noise. Vera also got to play with her cousin Lila yesterday when Lila's family came over for Easter dinner. After our guests left Vera went to bed early. In the excitement of the day, she didn't take a very long nap.
On Saturday we dressed Vera up in her easter dress and took her to a park to take pictures. There are no real flowers in Texas anymore because of this drought, so we made do with a tree and the gazebo. I know this is the same dress that Vera wore for Jake's wedding, but she loved it so much she wanted to wear it again for this special occasion! We hope you all had a happy easter!
